VIRTUAL VOLUNTEER TRAINING

Thanks to the dozens of individuals who signed up to be room parents, classroom volunteers, and PTA committee leads for the school year. Please join PTA Volunteer Liaison Joanna Marsh for an online training this Monday (Sept 12th) at 7:30pm to learn about school and county volunteer requirements as well as detailed information on the room parent role. A Zoom link will be emailed in advance of the meeting.

SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAY BASH

Friday, September 16th, we will hold the first Birthday Bash of the school year, celebrating all students with birthdays in SEPTEMBER!  Students with SEPTEMBER birthdays will come to the APR from 2:30 pm - 3 pm on Friday to enjoy cupcakes and Birthday Bingo!

We will need 8 volunteers/parents to help us set-up and clean up the Birthday Bash from 2:00 pm to 3:25 pm in the APR. All Bash supplies are provided by the PTA.  All volunteers must be fully vaccinated. If you can help and your child has a September birthday, please sign up below through Sign Up Genius:

*****Allergy Reminder******Giant Bakery cupcakes and Goldfish crackers are served for the snack at the Birthday Bash. The cupcakes are nut-free. If your child has an allergy of concern PLEASE send them with a snack to enjoy at the Bash. We are very happy to make them a plate!!!

AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT

The PTA is excited to continue our relationship with Baroody Camps to offer after school enrichment classes this Fall for all students in grades K-5.  All classes are held onsite at Bradley Hills from 3:35 – 4:35. Students go directly from their classrooms to their enrichment programs. The Fall session will run from Oct 18 – Dec 16 with classes available Tuesdays – Fridays. (No enrichment on Mondays this Fall.)  More information including the class schedule, class descriptions and registration instructions coming soon. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, Sept 27 at 10am when registration opens and get ready for music, chess, sports, art, STEM and much more!  Email Laurel Keating at laurel.keating@gmail.com with any questions.

BRADLEY 411

Do you want to connect with the PTA board and meet other parents from our school? How about learn about volunteer opportunities? Bradley 411 is a great way to connect in a relaxed adult-only setting and get the information you need and meet like-minded parents at BHES. Even if you have been at BHES for a few years, this is a fun event to meet new parents so come join us!

FALL BACK TO SCHOOL PICNIC - AND SSL OPPORTUNITY!

Come join new friends and old to celebrate the start of the 2022 school year. The Bradley Hills PTA is hosting a back to school event on September 17, 2022 at Bradley Hills from 5-7pm. Activities will include inflatables, raffles, a dunk tank, tie dye, face painting and more. Let's kick off this school year with a celebration!  (Please bring cash for purchases - other options will be available, but cash will be most convenient and reliable!)  

SSL Opportunity: We are looking for SSL student volunteers from Pyle or Whitman to help volunteer at the dunk tank and other fun stations for this event.
