Welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year at Bradley Hills! We hope everyone had a fantastic summer.

There are a lot of exciting things happening around BHES to kick off the school year. You should receive information on which teacher your child will have for the year on Thursday (Aug 22). Your child can visit their classroom and teacher from 2:00-3:00pm on Friday (Aug 23) for Sneak-a-Peek! Be sure to put two events on your calendar: Back-to-School Night on Thursday, Sept 5 for parents/guardians and the Back-to-School Carnival on Saturday, Sept 14 for the whole family!

Don't forget to join the PTA this school year! We manage activities and support for all students at BHES and rely on membership dues each year to fund this work. Our goal is to have 100% membership this year.

Fri, Aug 23 – Sneak-a-Peek (2:00 - 3:00pm, BHES Classrooms)

Mon, Aug 26 – First Day of School

Sat, Sept 14 – Back-to-School Carnival (5:00-7:00pm, BHES blacktop)

ONE REMAINING INCOMING KINDERGARTENER PLAYDATE!

Do you have an incoming Kindergartener? If so, please join us on the small playground at BHES for snacks, playtime, and introductions to other new students joining BHES in the fall! There is one final playdate scheduled: 

• Saturday, August 25th @ 10am

BE A ROOM PARENT FOR YOUR CHILD'S CLASSROOM

If you would like to sign up to be a room parent this year, you may do so by using the QR code in your child's classroom at Sneak-a-Peek, and/or your teacher(s) may send out a link to the online form in their welcome email this week. It will also be provided in next week's Weekly Whale once everyone has their class assignments. If you have any questions regarding the room parent role or other volunteer opportunities, please reach out to Claire Heffez at bradleyhillsvolunteer@gmail.com.  

BACK-TO-SCHOOL CARNIVAL (SEPT 14, 5-7PM - PRE-ORDER PIZZA AND CALL FOR SSL VOLUNTEERS)

Come join new friends and old to celebrate the start of the 2024/25 school year. The Bradley Hills PTA is hosting a back-to-school carnival on September 14th from 5-7pm. We'll have tons of fun activities such as inflatables, art projects, face painting, a dunk tank, food, and more!

We are still looking for a few more SSL volunteers for the carnival. If you know somebody who is interested, please have them fill out this link
