BOOK FAIR THIS WEEK!

The BHES PTA Book Fair is happening from Oct 31 - Nov 4. This fair's theme is "Bolder Stronger Prouder Reader". We have contests and fun activities planned to celebrate!  This year, we are allowing shopping to be done in-person by students and by parents daily from 9:15a - 2:30p  

Parents can come shop outside of school hours on Tuesday Nov 1 from 6-8 PM.

Set up an eWallet:  eWallet is an easy way to send your child to the fair with money in an online account, where it can't be lost.  Please visit our fair homepage to set up an eWallet for your child before their class visits, or to check or reload the balance on an existing eWallet.  Please note that funds added to an eWallet that aren't used will be available for use at Scholastic.com and/or at a later BHES PTA Book Fair, but will not be refunded.

Diwali (short for “Deepavali”) generally occurs in late Oct/early November and is based on the Lunar (moon) calendar. The time of Diwali is one of the most festive and beautiful times of the year. Diwali literally means a row of Lights. It is a time filled with light and love; a time when Hindus, but also many Buddhists, Jains, and Sikhs all over the world rejoice. It is the darkest night of the darkest period of the year… yet it is a celebration of light!
